Factary has appointed Elizabeth Dixon as Senior Research Director. Elizabeth joins Factary from the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Development Office, where she is Head of Research. At the V&A Elizabeth provided prospect research for the £30m British Galleries capital campaign and the £75m FuturePlan campaign.

Biography
Elizabeth Dixon is Head of Research at the Victoria and Albert Museum’s Development Office. Elizabeth has focused on individual prospect research for the V&A’s British Galleries capital campaign and its current FuturePlan capital campaign. Prior to joining the V&A in March 2000, Elizabeth worked at the Royal Society of Arts where she researched companies, trusts, foundations and individuals. A member of the Institute of Fundraising, Researchers in Fundraising and Museums and Arts Researchers in Fundraising, Elizabeth was a Member of Researchers in Fundraising’s Data Protection Action Group which in 2004 produced a set of Data Protection Act guidelines for prospect researchers. Elizabeth worked (between 1988-97) in public libraries where she gained a firm grounding in information retrieval and knowledge management.
